The region was heavily affected by the devastating earthquake on April 25, 2015 where the whole langtang village got swept away and by the effort of the foreign friends and donors and locals, the village have been able to restore life and trying to get back to a normal life. We believe the best way to contribute to a third world country is travelling thru the region and this trek will be a best option of trekking in less crowded trail and giving something back to the community at the same time .
Langtang is located in the Himalayas of Nepal to the north of the Kathmandu Valley and bordering to Tibet , offers up close view of mountains Langtang-ri, Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lhakpa Peak adds immense beauty to this region. Also once a famous trading route to Tibet ,the valley is famous for the rich tibetan influential customs and tradition of Himalayan people. This region gives an opportunity to explore Lantang National Park, villages, climb small mountains and to visit glaciers.
