The Annapurna Sanctuary offers various landscapes and locals residing from mid valley to high mountain lifestyle with unique culture and friendly locals welcoming you to their home. The view from Poonhill and 360-degree views of the snow-covered peaks above you and the majestic view of the landscapes from Base camp is one of the highlights of the trip.
Annapurna goddess of harvest is the key source of farming in the Annapurna region providing adequate water for irrigation. Mt. Annapurna I (8091m) , the 10th highest mountain of the world is located in north central part of Nepal. The largest conservation area of Nepal named “Annapurna Conservation Area Project” within the 7639 sq/km protects Annapurna region. The journey to the base of Mt. Annapurna I is one of the most popular trek in all over the world. The trek to the ABC begins in “Pokhara” the city is also known as the “Lake City”. We follow our trail through the Gurung Villages of Ghandruk, Chomrong and Bamboo following the glacial basin of rivers, waterfalls, rhododendron forests and beautiful panorama mountain views with Annapurna, Fishtail and Hiuchuli. Very famous trekking route for trekkers Annapurna Basecamp Trek is also known as Annapurna Sanctuary.
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300m /4,264 ft)
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, after completion of our custom formalities (Visa, etc), Asia Voyage Outdoor representative will pick you up from airport and transfer to hotel. Depending on time if we have enough time we will hang around Thamel and buy some necessary gears.
In the evening, there will be a welcome dinner and short briefing.
Day 02: Fly to Pokhara (823m/2,700ft): 30 minutes / 5 -6 hours
After breakfast, we will be escorted to the domestic terminal of Kathmandu airport for an early morning flight to Pokhara, the beautiful lake city and catch great views of the Himalayas, a gateway destination from where our trek begins. On your own you can take a walk around Lakeside or you can do boating at Phewa lake. Overnight stay in Pokhara. - Included meals: BLD
Day 03: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk 1940 m : 5 - 6 hours
After having our breakfast in the morning we drive 2 hour 30 min to Naya Pul and the trek start from here. Eventually, from Nayapul we will walk on a nice dirt road alongside beautiful river stream for 30 minutes to Birethanti. Next, we trek to Ghandruk (5 hours approx.), a beautiful largest Gurung village with the grand view of Annapurna South and Hiu chuli and if time permits, we also visit the Gurung museum today. Overnight stay in Ghandruk.

Day 04: Ghandruk to Chhomrong (2170m/7120ft): 5 - 6 hours
Today, after breakfast we climb up to Kimrungdanda (1 hour max). During the walk to Kimrungdanda we can enjoy great views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhre) and Ganggapurna. After taking the steep descent to the Kimrong Khola and another steep ascent from Kimrong Khola to Chere Danda we take descend for a while then it’s a gentle walk to Chhomrong on the lap of Annapurna Mountain. Overnight in Chhomrong.
DAY 05: Chhomrong to Himalaya(2840m/9317ft): 6 hours
The trail start from Chhomrong 2500 stone steps incline and crosses the Chhomrong Khola via suspension bridge. From there after uphill climbing to Sinuwa we pass through a beautiful forest to Kuldihar. Next, following an easy downhill walk we reach Bamboo for lunch. The trail climbs through bamboo stands and though rhododendron forest up the side of the canyon. Keep an eye out for black faced langur monkeys .We walk through the Bamboo forest which is little cold and some steep ascend will take us to Himalaya Hotel where the forest opens and sun welcome us with amazing views of glacial river. Overnight at Himalaya.
Day 06: Himalaya to ABC (4130m/ 13550ft): 5-6 hours
We start our hike up to Hinku Cave from the hotel we take steep ascend through the drier forest. Next, we climb to Deurali, on the way to Deurali we cane the beautiful valley, river below and wispy waterfall. We continue our trek along the open glacial basin towards Machhapuchhre base camp at 3700 mts. We will be having our lunch at MBC and continue ascending towards ABC our ultimate destination of the trek. Over night at ABC
Day 07: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo: 7 – 8 hours
This day from the Annapurna base camp we take out steps to Bamboo. With the excellent nature views downhill trek to Bamboo is not much difficult.

Day 08: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1760m/5770 ft): 5 - 6 hours
From Bamboo, it is an uphill trek to Kuldighar and downhill up to Chhomrong Khola. Next, we climb the stone steps to Chhomrong. The descends walk leads us to Jhinu Danda, where we will rest till tomorrow morning. Today we will have an opportunity to enjoy hot springs just 15-20 minute downhill walk from Jhinu Danda. Overnight in Jhinu Danda.

Day 10: Trek to Naya Pul then drive to Pokhara: 6 hours trek, 2.5 hrs drive
On the way to Naya Pul from Jhinu Danda we enjoy the amazing hill landscape and take lunch in the mid of the trip. Our trek ends at Naya Pul where we take our vehicle to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara. We will bid farewell to our trekking crew members at Nayapul and this is the chance to show your gratitude to the crew members and ask the trek leader for recommendation .
Day 11: Flight Pokhara to Kathmandu : 30 minutes
Earlier morning, we will taken to Sarangkot for the early morning sunrise Annapurna range view or relax in the morning at the hotel. You have option of paragliding , bungy, zip line or hire a boat at Phew lake . We will fly to Kathmandu in the afternoon. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, we will be escorted to our hotel and we can enjoy our day in Kathmandu. In the evening to celebrate our successfull journey, we will have a farewell dinner with the group. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 12: Final Departure
Our journey in Nepal comes to an end today! Asia voyage representative will drop us off at the airport approximately 3 hours before our scheduled flight.
